August 2016: Charlotte Cars and Coffee, GMP Performance BBQ and Eurowise Meat and Chill.
It has been a busy summer for me, beyond photography, life in general. I made the move with my wife and son to Charlotte, NC and there has been plenty to do and even more to check out in September. I hit up a few meets in Charlotte to get an idea of what’s going on out here and I must say, it’s pretty damn good. I met a lot of good people and there are some amazing rides rolling around the Charlotte area. I also made it to a few meets without the camera, just to hang out, and I did some aggressive driving up in the mountains 🙂
Earlier in August I went out to Charlotte Cars and Coffee and it was huge. There were quite a few rare cars out there, stuff on my list to see before I die along with all the common supercars and almost every other make, model and genre. I saw a Noble M500, a RUF Porsche and a pretty insane S2000 if I were to mention a few.
After Cars and Coffee, I made my way over to GMP Performance. They hosted the ACNA Carolinas Chapter with a BBQ and open house at their shop. Obviously there was quite a lineup of Audis, a few Porsches and one beautiful Tesla.
I also went out to Eurowise, Meat and Chill, a little get together the last Tuesday of every month with some big rides. High horsepower european cars and definitely chill!
It will be hard to top August, but I have a few plans. Check out the photos and check back for more.
I updated the shop with a few of my favorite race images. They would look great in the man cave or on the wall in the garage 😉
