11th Annual Motori Italian – A Celebration of Italian Motoring
A celebration of Italian motoring! Who wouldn’t like that? I’m still new to Charlotte and although this is their 11th year, I’ve obviously never been, but I began to imagine what could be. Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Lancia; it’s an impressive list. I was up early, camera equipment ready to go and the weather was perfect. We were just waiting for an amazing turnout, as if that would be an issue at an Italian only car show! The turnout was great, mostly vintage Ferrari, a few modern cars, with a few smaller groups of Lamborghinis, Maseratis, Alfa Romeos and Lancias. There were no La Ferraris or Paganis, but I was perfectly content – besides I do love vintage European cars. In the Lamborghini group, there was the beautiful Miura P400 that I’ve seen at Cars and Cappuccino, as well as a beautiful black Diablo VT. As for Ferrari, there was an amazing red Ferrari 330 GTC, a few Dinos, 512s, 360s, 355s and 308s. There were some awesome vintage Alfa Romeos, Maseratis and Lancias. Foreign Cars Charlotte showed off a few of their Maseratis, as well as a few other dealers showcasing the new Lamborghini Huracans and the awesome new Alfa Romeo Giulia. An all Italian car show makes for a wonderful day and a welcome change to my bias towards German cars!
As always, I hope you all enjoy the photos!
